Citizens of Brownsville and Haywood County have worked diligently to preserve our rich heritage so that all may enjoy it. A special walking/driving tour on tape and CD is available of homes and churches in the Brownsville Historic District, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and featuring majestic homes and churches. Other points of interest include College Hill Center, which houses three museums; the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge; and the home of Blues legend Sleepy John Estes. The West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center provides visitors with information about West Tennessee and features three museums and a gift shop.

The Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is your business, industrial and tourism information source for Decatur County. Noteworthy are our five marinas and 25 boat docks offering easy access to recreation fun on the Tennessee River. Outdoor sites include Busseltown Wildlife Refuge and Beech Bend Park. Decatur County is host for many year-round events such as the Worlds Largest Coon Hunt; July 4th Gumdale Boat Races; Scotts Hill Appreciation Day; and the Richard Crawley Memorial Trail Ride. The Community Action Network is an organization that serves as a partnership of all citizens, businesses, industries, local government, churches, schools, and civic groups with a common vision for improving the quality of life for everyone in Decatur County. The Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce

incorporated towns. Civil War and
history enthusiasts will find
interesting the Davis Bridge Battle site
and 119 buildings listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. Outdoor
enthusiasts and wildlife fans will
appreciate the Hatchie River bottomland, which offers

Henderson County is halfway between Memphis and Nashville, just 11 miles south of I-40. The county features six major lakes with over 100 miles of shoreline. Henderson County is also the home of Tennessee's largest state park which encompasses 48,000 acres. Beech River Cultural Center and Museum focuses on the area's reformation thru the paleo area up to the end of World War II. Henderson County boasts two of West Tennessees most beautiful golf courses, Pine Tree Country Club and Falcon Ridge Golf Club. McNairy County if famous for the
legendary “Walking Tall” Sheriff Buford
Pusser. Located near Pickwick Landing
State Park, Shiloh National Military
Park, and Shiloh Golf Course, McNairy

Center which is the 12th largest
paleontological dig in the world; the
